Fatoumata Maiga, is from a small rural village in the Southwest of Côte d’Ivoire where her parents work in agriculture and fisheries. Life there can be difficult with challenges in accessing decent food, medicines, livelihoods and education.
Fatoumata is one of the children involved in Save the Children’s Work, No Child’s Business Programme that helps children who were previously working to bridge into Education.
Our event will discuss the importance of addressing child labor in global smallholder agriculture supply chains through a multi stakeholder approach designed to strengthen and reinforce government systems and demonstrate proven approaches with sustainable, scalable, and replicable solutions that address the root causes of child labor around the world.
