Ms. Avenati has over fifteen years of expertise working on international cooperation issues with think tanks and non profit organizations in Italy and abroad (Burundi, Iraq). She has worked for Save the Children since 2008, leading advocacy and networking activities, and developing multi-stakeholders partnerships, in the education and protection sectors. In the last seven years she has supported corporations in developing social programmes closely aligned with business goals: in particular, re-thinking social impact programms to support communities along supply chains.
Our event will discuss the importance of addressing child labor in global smallholder agriculture supply chains through a multi stakeholder approach designed to strengthen and reinforce government systems and demonstrate proven approaches with sustainable, scalable, and replicable solutions that address the root causes of child labor around the world.
