Dan Owen is a Lead Social Development Specialist in the Social Sustainability and Inclusion Global Practice, Eastern and Southern Africa, at the World Bank, and is based in Kinshasa, DRC. He leads work on stabilization in DRC, manages the Global Program for Reintegration Support and the World Bank community of practice on Security and Violence Prevention. Previously, he worked in the World Bank’s Environment and Social Framework implementation support team, leading on the World Bank’s new safeguard policy on Labor and Working Conditions, and has been focusing on addressing child labor risks in World Bank investment lending.
The panel gives voice to global, regional, national and local actors who are contributing to address child labour in agriculture in different subsectors.
