María Isabel Salazar has a solid professional background. Early in her career, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Legal and Social Sciences from Rafael Landivar University in Guatemala City. She also has a master’s degree in Management, International Trade, and Customs Management and Business Administration specializing in International Law; Senior International Management and has postgraduate studies in International Criminal Law and Alternative Conflict Resolution from some of the most renowned Universities in Colombia and Spain.
The panel aims to understand and shed light on the complex root causes of child labour and its consequences in terms of perpetuating the cycle of poverty and situations of child labour.
