Mr. Sidikou is the Coordinator of World Vision in Maradi and the National Coordinator of the NGO Ecole, Parrainage & Actions de Développement (EPAD) in Niger since 2005. EPAD addresses issues related to child protection, mostly focusing on children on the move, child trafficking, child labour, child marriage and community-based child protection mechanisms. Mr. Sidikou is also President of the Union of West African Coalitions for Children focused on research and reporting on children's rights. With over 25 years of experiences in development and protection of children, he acts as Chair of the National Coalition for child protection (95 National NGO members) focused on advocacy for Children’s rights in Niger.
The event will highlight the importance of skills development services and post-training support to improve livelihoods, making families less vulnerable to forced labour and child labour.
