Fiachra McAsey

Mr. Fiachra McAsey has served as UNICEF Deputy Representative in Ghana since July 2018. He is responsible for UNICEF’s ongoing support to the country within the framework of the UNICEF-Government of Ghana Country Programme of Cooperation (2018-2022). 

Fiachra is a national of the Republic of Ireland. He joined UNICEF in 1999 as an analyst at UNICEF’s Supply Division in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2002-2008, with the UNICEF Office of Internal Audit in New York, he supported UNICEF country offices in over 25 countries on management excellence, value-for-money and effectiveness initiatives and conducted global and multi-country analyses in strategic priority areas for UNICEF.
