Hon. Agnes Nyalonje has served in numerous national and international organisations focusing on policy, planning, advocacy, partnership building, gender, and disability-inclusion all geared towards a focus on human development work and community services, particularly for marginalised communities. Minister Nyalonje has served in Malawi as the Minister for Education (2020 to date), Member of Parliament (2014-2020), Director Sightsavers Malawi (2013), Executive Director Maikhanda (2008), Technical adviser World Health Organization in South Africa (2004-2006), Country Director UNAIDS (2002-2004), Consultant for World Bank (Washington/Geneva), Lecturer University of Edinburgh, Lecturer in linguistics, University of Malawi – Chancellor College.
