Julie Sutton is Senior Director of Government Affairs and Global Impact at VF Corporation, a global leader in branded lifestyle apparel, footwear and accessories. VF is the owner of 12 iconic brands including The North Face ®, Vans®, Timberland®, and Dickies ®. Julie is responsible for educating policy makers and external stakeholders on VF’s policy positions on trade, climate, environment, human rights, and responsible sourcing. Julie advocates for these policy positions at the state and federal levels and represents VF’s interest in Washington DC, Latin America and the European Union. In her Global Impact role, she leads VF’s corporate human rights program, prioritizing women’s empowerment, child rights, eradicating forced labor, and promoting freedom of association. She leads the team responsible for human rights due diligence.
