AMBA Karim has a High Studies Diploma from the Social Security School. He is an expert on social politics and worked for 14 years (1986-2000) for National Social Security Fund (CNPS) before becoming Director of Social Security (2001-2011). From 2011 to 2014, he worked as General Director of Social Affairs. Under the lead of Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs, he coordinated the reform of the retirement arm of CNPS and led the reforms of CGRAE. In 2014, M BAMBA was appointed General Director of the National Health Insurance Fund of Côte d’Ivoire and is in charge of the implementation of Universal Health Coverage in Côte d’Ivoire (CMU).
