Minister Mariana Gonçalves Madeira became Deputy Director and General Coordinator of Planning and Communication of the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) in 2022. She graduated from the University of Brasilia with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Social Communication and a master’s degree in History. The Minister was most recently in Australia, where she served as Deputy Consul General in the Consulate General in Sydney, and directed the Science, Technology and Innovation Sector, and the Community and Cultural sectors in the same Consulate General. In 2018, she was Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy in Yaounde, Cameroon.
