Joséphine S. Andriamamonjiarison is a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris and holds an MBA from HEC-Paris as well as a DEA from Panthéon Sorbonne University. She began her career at BNP Headquarters in Paris as a financial analyst in charge of the Insurance sector. She then joined the Bolloré Group in Madagascar as Director of the tobacco distribution subsidiary before creating a group of SMEs in visual communication and consulting. She chaired the Groupement des Entreprises de Madagascar (GEM), from 2011 to 2019. She still sits on the board of this organization as an advisor and is responsible for supervising the Social Commission. As such, she represents the GEM in the governing bodies of social organizations (Pension Fund, Health Insurance Fund, Vocational Training Financing Fund) as well as in the ILO, as a substitute member of the GB. She also chairs the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Antananarivo.
