Ms. Maria Yvelonia dos Santos Araujo Barbosa is graduated in Social Work from the University of Brasília (UnB) and Master in Social Sciences from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos). She worked as coordinator at the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS) and, between 2008 and 2010, as manager of Socio-educational Measures in Open Environment in the municipality of Valparaíso de Goiás/GO. Since 2010, she has been a career servant at the State Department of Justice and Citizenship of the Federal District.
The event consists of the launch of the ILO and UNICEF report on Social Protection and Child Labour followed by a panel discussion and a subsequent plenary session.
The event highlights the importance of using available technology to coordinate efforts and accelerate the achievement of target 8.7.
